GLP-1 Pets is independently operated. We are a content-first authority site tracking veterinary GLP-1 weight loss drugs. As of publication date, there is no FDA-approved GLP-1 medication for cats or dogs to recommend or sell affiliate-style. When the first pet GLP-1 drug launches, we expect to enter affiliate partnerships with the manufacturer or telehealth distributor where editorially defensible.

We participate in the following affiliate programs where we link to relevant consumer products discussed in our content:

• Chewy(via Impact.com) — when we link to specific weight management foods (Hill's Metabolic, Royal Canin Satiety, Purina OM).
• Amazon Associates — when we link to BCS measurement aids, timed feeders, or veterinary reference materials.

When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. This costs you nothing extra. The price is the same whether you click through our link or go to the retailer directly.

Editorial Independence

Affiliate revenue does not influence which trials we cover, which companies we highlight, or how we describe their drugs. We do not accept payment from drug manufacturers, vet pharma companies, or any party with editorial interest in how we cover the pet GLP-1 pipeline. Okava and Akston have not paid us, do not sponsor our content, and are not affiliated with this site.

Our trial coverage is sourced from publicly available materials: company press releases, FDA filings, peer-reviewed publications, and academic veterinary institutions (Cornell, etc.). We do not have insider access. Where we cite specific facts, we link to the primary source.

When Pet GLP-1 Launches

When Okava OKV-119, Akston AKS-562c, or any future canine GLP-1 product reaches FDA approval and commercial launch, we expect to:

• Apply for an affiliate partnership with the manufacturer or telehealth distributor (Pawp, Dutch, Chewy Connect, or similar).
• Disclose the affiliate relationship on every page that contains a link.
• Continue covering the science independently — affiliate status will not change how we describe efficacy, side effects, or competitor comparisons.

Sister Site Disclosure

GLP-1 Pets is operated by the same team behind GLP-1 Picks, an affiliate-supported comparison site for human GLP-1 telehealth providers. The two sites have separate editorial teams in spirit but share the same operator (Iacob Pastina / Arsenal Productions SRL). Affiliate revenue from one site does not flow through to the other.
